The Vesper top draws its inspiration from the subtle dialogue between light and shadow, similar to the deep blacks of Pierre Soulages. His work with outrenoir offers a unique vision: black is no longer the absence of light, but a living surface, revealing light through matter.
Its volumes evoke the sculptural softness of Ingres' drapes, where each fold gracefully highlights the silhouette.

This duality, imbued with mystery, echoes the aesthetic of Junichiro Tanizaki's "In Praise of Shadows," which celebrates the beauty of obscure nuances and suggested forms. It is also in the poetic interiority of Marguerite Duras's heroines that this piece is embodied, a presence both fragile and intense, like a shadow cast full of life.
